SyncRow: Biomechanical analysis for rowing.

Syncrow provides an easy-to-use video analysis tool for rowing coaches and athletes using open-source pose-estimation tools. Syncrow allows easy assessment of syncronicity between athletes, consistency and technique developemnet, without the need to upload or share video with a 3rd party.

About.

I am a Mechanical Engineer with a history of Passive Safety analysis, testing and simulation. I started rowing at the University of Strathclyde in 2016 and have always wanted to apply my engineering to better understand how to make boats go faster. Syncrow and the articles I write here are my attempt to do this and share it with like-minded people.

Mission.

Build tools to facilitate better understanding of the aspects of rowing that can be analysed through a mechanical engineering focused lens.
